NOT TRUE!
Chavez is PRO GAY, and tried to implement LGBT rights into the constitution. It was voted down last year.
Chavez was democratically elected 2 times and those elections were overseen by several international voting agencies including Jimmy Carter’s. All deemed the elections clean and fair.
